Develop your land-use savvy! FREE 1/31

Trying to understand what gets built in the neighborhood and why? Learn about the basics of land use planning in a free 3-hour workshop from the Bureaus of Planning and Sustainability (BPS) and Development Services (BDS) on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Historic Kenton Firehouse.
This comprehensive workshop will include:

  • State land use planning laws and the land use planning system in Oregon;
  • An overview of long-range planning, including the Comprehensive Plan and the public’s role;
  • An overview of the development review planning process;
  • An interactive exercise responding to a recent land use proposal in the community.
